Western Electric 554 Gold

Western Electric 554 wall telephone. This one is a custom order factory painted gold. One little point of interest, the way they painted the dial number ring is from behind, that way the numbers show and dialing doesn't wear the paint. The cord is "neutral" brown This antique telephone was never put into service (thanks to a telephone worker) I still have the box for it.
