About Me
I collect and restore antique telephones.
While I do have many different types and ages of phones in my collection
my main focus is on Payphones, Pay Stations and Coin Collectors.
I have had an interest in telephones since I was a kid. I started
collecting them around 1990 and at that time joined the telephone
collecting clubs. I found them to be a great resource not only for
finding phones, parts and information but also for making friends.
I have attended dozens of "Phone Shows" as well as hosted two.
I have served on the ATCA Board for many years.
This is me with my first antique phone. I got it as a teen from an antique store in Intercourse, PA. I paid $40 for it with the ringer box.
Back in 1990 I built this showcase for my telephone collection, yes at the time this was my telephone collection. I also joined the ATCA and TCI at that time.
My fiancé Bev joined me at the 2011 ATCA National show in King of Prussia. I was one of the co-hosts who arranged and put on the show.
This is my display table at the 2009 ATCA National show in Valley Forge. I was one of the co-hosts who arranged and put on the show.
I hosted the first Long Island, Telephone Show on April 7 2012. Pictured with me is "wife" Bev and the kids, Steve, Dorothy & Stephanie!
