AT&T COCOT Queens NY loc Hall

I removed this AT&T COCOT (Customer Owned Coin Operated Telephone) from an old pharmacy in Queens NY. It had been unused for many years. It was found in very good condition. The coin scanner is Mars, and the chassis is Protel. Note the "MADE BY, Western Electric" coin return assembly (ASD). In my opinion this was originally a Tel. Co. 1D that was taken out of service and reworked to be put into private payphone use. The upper and lower locks are Abloy.
