Phone Booth Placard DDD
Bell System phone booth 10.75 X 7 DDD or Direct Distance Dialing placard. It fit a frame that screwed into the wall of a phone booth, the cardboard sign slides in from the right and behind a glass or clear plastic panel. These signs were changed from time to time. They usually had some kind of instructions like how to dial for example or telephone company advertising. This sign was used in New York City.
