Western Electric 196G, 10 cent automatic prepay payphone or paystation. The 196 is the first model to have the standard coin return setup but no anti stuffing coin return bucket. Note the instruction card, this antique telephone shared a line with another phone, normally a non-dial 500 C/D or something similar.
