Western Electric 191GS Unusual Coin Gauge
Western Electric 191GS, 10 cent automatic prepay payphone or paystation. In Chicago slugs were always a problem. This special coin gauge is deeper than a normal one, enclosed inside of it are magnets that would keep slugs from dripping from it. It has a special chute and a coin return button, this is a different setup from later models with coin return mechanisms.
