Western Electric 191GNT loc R3-3
Western Electric 191GNT. These are a mystery to me. I am guessing that Western Electric took 191G payphones and upgraded mostly the internals to more modern components. Inside it looks like a newer model such as a 233G, the handset and hook are upgraded as well. As a 191G would have it still has no coin release button or coin return bucket. The back plate has had threaded ferrels added to accommodate security studs. The vault lock is a type 14D.
