Western Electric 155G, 10 cent automatic prepay payphone or paystation from New York City. This antique telephone started out as a Gray 150G or similar model. It was converted by Western Electric to 10 cent operation. Note the Manhattan instruction card. Equipped with WE 2 coil relay, #5 dial, 706 receiver and the 635 "bulldog" transmitter. It retains an early cast coin gauge.
