Gray #3 nicknamed "Silver Dollar Payphone". This antique walnut telephone accepts nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollar and dollar coins. A unique combination of bell and gong sounds are made as different coins are dropped. The transmitter mount is basically an upside down horn, it works to capture the sound of the dropped coins and brings them to the transmitter so the operator can hear them. Note the elbow rest on the left side of the cabinet. The coin drawer is metal with a wood front and has a big Corbin lock and a pull handle. The large 2 mfd condenser is stowed away behind the 68E subset.
