Western Electric 500CD Non Dial
Western Electric manual 500. These vintage telephones had various uses. I remember using them in offices where the switchboard operator would connect the call for the user. I also remember one being at a Chinese take out place in Brooklyn near my Junior High School. It was on the same line as the 3 slot payphone. It could be used to answer incoming calls but not used to dial out. Note the straight handset cord.
