British, Plessey Co Dial Blank
That telephone was made by the Plessey Co Ltd in 1929. It is the standard GPO style auto candlestick - the Tele No 150. The Bakelite transmitters (Transmitter No 22) were later replacements that used the newer handset transmitter inserts. This telephone has a dial blank in the place of a dial.
